Here are some pics of a really funky bathroom we completed last year. Our clients really wanted to be bold with their design choices and create a bit of a statement. The house is an early 1900's villa which has undergone a major renovation. The bathroom needed to be sympathetic to the style of house but with a modern flavour. The floor tiles give a real pop to the space but are balanced out by the traditional white subway tile used on the walls. The plumbing fittings are mainly of a traditional style but the obvious talking point are the pink walls! Initially there were a few raised eyebrows but the colour actually works really well and brings a lovely warmth to the room. Lesson #1: Don't be afraid to be bold with design choices!
